I am a teacher of middle school special education. I have mainly worked with children with emotional or behavioral problems, also teach study skills and tutor how to study. I have been on leave for the past 7 years raising my last two children.  I have 4 altogether.  They are the most important people in my life, but they are not my entire life. 
I like to consider myself a humanist, in that I love people, I have faith in humankind and our inate goodness and desire to be loved.  I am just starting to follow the teachings of Gerry Jud and Intentional Loving and recently went on my first incredible Shalom Retreat. 
I have a BA in Philosophy from Drew University and have 3 teaching certifications because when I graduated I found no one looking to hire a philsopher– too bad I am one anyway!!!! Just unpaid….
